Alexander (Sandy) Duncanson died in June 2010 at the age of 37, after living with cancer for sixteen years. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Tasmania, Sandy was widely respected for his work in the community legal and housing sectors, where he acted as an advocate for the vulnerable.

In recognition of Sandy's profound commitment to social justice, in 2011 his family and friends established an endowed fund in his name through the University of Tasmania Foundation. Each year, the Sandy Duncanson Social Justice Fund grants one or more bursaries to University of Tasmania students with a demonstrated commitment to social justice.

Your contribution to the Sandy Duncanson Social Justice Fund will allow more bursaries to be awarded.

You may also join the mailing list to keep updated on the Sandy Duncanson Social Justice Fund and associated lectures.

Please fill in the online form below, or alternatively, you may print and complete the Sandy Duncanson Social Justice Bursary Donation Form (PDF 134KB).
